Let me be the one who says it: I have no idea what I'm doing. Having a website is still so new to me, as is the responsibility of posting new and consistent content. It was easier when I was a Banquet manager, and when I worked for Wal-Mart. At least there, the goals and priorities were clear, and I had nineteen years of service experience and training to back me up. Without that kind of support, though, managing a website is kind of like entering battle without armor. It's an unnerving experience.
For me, anyway. Now, I love to write, and I even enjoy the editing process. I'm proud to say I wrote the banquet houseman training manual for the hotel I worked for, which the long-termers completely ignored and, I'm dead sure, the new guys tossed in the trash right away. Come to think of it, only one of my guys told me he read it, and I appreciated that. So, for me, the actual writing isn't my red light. Being consistent is.
Consistent and thankful. I'm still absolutely stunned that around 90 people submitted contact information to the site. I really don't know what to say but thank you, with one major confession. I do not for the life of me why you did, or what to do next. All I can think of is to keep entertaining you with silly little stories, and hope I can make you laugh at my attempts, or cry. Or scare the pants off you.
And here's a secret I'll just let you in on right here and now. I split my efforts between two sites. I also have Tales of a Tired Daddy on WordPress, where I post other tales of interest, if you're...interested. Yeah, maybe could have thought that one out a little more.
Well, there you have it, for now. Thank you again for taking some time out of your day to read my blathering and I hope you will return for more.
May your day be blessed.
